Personality & Behavior
Leão’s journey has been one of quiet courage and steady progress. Rescued from a shepherd, he arrived at the shelter as a very timid dog, unsure of humans and his surroundings. Now Leão has grown in confidence and plays happily with the other dogs.
While still a little shy around people he doesn’t know, Leão is improving every day. He now leaves his box with his canine friends, and he’s beginning to trust the volunteers, coming to them for affection and wagging with excitement when he sees them.
With time, understanding, and the security of a home, he will absolutely blossom into the loyal, loving companion he’s meant to be.
Adoption Requirements
Home type : Leão would thrive in a calm and quiet home with a secure garden or yard where he can explore at his own pace and feel safe.
Experience level: Leão needs a calm, patient owner who can provide the love and consistency he craves.
